I'm around 600 hours played since GW:P release. Started during E3 for Everyone. I'd probably have more hours clocked, but I've got a wife, 2 kids, and 2 jobs. And my wife wishes I played less.

it feels strange that the OP has so little since making money shouldn't be a problem if you play the game normally and getting perfect weapons nowadays is relatively cheap depending on the skin of your weapon.

1 can apply to anyone
2 makes no since it handicaps the person and getting like I said before is easy.
3 this is a choice for people since not everyone likes buying armor that others won't notice right away or at all. This is mainly for self-satisfaction.

Come on man, you're just lying. You get way over 10K by just going through the storyline, you can easily buy 1.5K armor by the time you get to Droknar's Forge (and probably at Kaineng City too, but I've never had a Canthan character), and the last missions will most certainly get you a couple of Platinum.

1. The most gold I've ever had is 1000K (I also had 250 Ectos and 250 Shards at that time). Didn't take long to spend, and now, I barely have anything. I deleted both my characters with a FoW set, including all their customized items, of course.
2. The only perfect Gold item I have is a Gladius at this moment, with -5 Energy, but I guess I'm just one of the few that doesn't mind using Collector's items.
3. I only have one set of 15K currently, but I've had 2 FoW sets, and I'd say about 20 15K sets over the last 16 months

These days I don't really care about gold anymore. FoW sets are all ugly, so I don't have to worry about, and if I want to, I can farm enough gold for a 15K set in 2 days, so if I want a 15K set, I just farm a couple of hours.

2) I tend to use collectors and greens or crafters, but I do have a 15^50 req.8 Wingblade just for the looks

3) Yeah that's me, FoW Barragers tend to enjoy being nublets these days for some reason. But I have had around 8 sets of 15k over the past 12 months.

Heck, I've been playing the same girl for years, and I can't seem to get her past Level 7.

Ok, truth is I don't have 10 plat on any account. Heck, I might not have 10 plat total. I don't have 15K Armour on any of my girls. I buy a lot of stuff for friends and newbies, so I tend to have gold run through my fingertips. The only thing I'm sort of manic about is the holiday items.

And I don't have... ah wait, I might have the perfect weapon, thanks to a guildie who gave me a lovely vampiric bow. (Come to think of that, that may not be perfect, but dang I love that bow!)

Gaile, I find it hard to believe that you don't have a "God Mode" command. If you want I can show you some great farming spots, and If you are really lucky I will show you my 55 monk sweet spot. It earns me about 100k in 2hrs. OMG what am I saying! Gaile I will pay you 100k just to do a mission with me. Then I could take screenshots and tell everyone about our romantic time together.

i've never really bothered with gold weapons. I found one boring skined( great axe) axe with 20% to enchant so i kept it for my rit lord. I also have a ffew greens but most of them i just sell.

i got my first and only set of 15k after 148 hours of play time.

1,2 and 10 i dont even have 500g XD as soon as i get cash i spend it on total %$&@ like when i decided to buy 100 unid weps for 200k right after i got the cash by selling my hard earned weapons, none were 15^50 or anything good i salvaged them all lol.

I never get to 1000k, everytime I get close to it, I get lazy.
Money is only meaningful if you have something in mind=P
I dont dig the look on any "set armor" I perfer mix them around myself so I dont need to worry about ecto and shards(I gave them to friends that want them)
I dont realy need gold perfect stuff, I can settle for green=P As long as I can pvp with them. (but yes I do have a few gold perfect weapons, which I find them myself pefect platium sword, gothic axe, golden maul, divine staff jade and amber bows, for god sack I been playing a year)
Hardly farm, cause never find the reason to do so....make enough money for normal spending is my goal, which I already am.

but yes, I do know one that have very little to nothing for a year of playing, he is one of my old guildi=P
a year of playing not a single pve char=P but hey, he get something money cant buy..pheonix!!

I did the same thing when I first started guildwar

Now, all my friend are wealthier then me.
I am the last to get my 15k armors

So other then ecto and shard or perfect items, they hardly ask for anything anymore

And the guild dont have new comer for sometimes.

I still have few perfect and close perfect weapon that I dont use in stock. Money is only good when you have something in mind, so I never get off my lazy ass to sell them

I think I have a few perfect bows, since I find you doing a good job as a pr, I will make sure I give you something next time I see you.

Ehh Ive been playing since the E3 for everyone may 04, but ive only been signed up here since prophecies release.

But i suppose im /notsigned, i tend to get lucky with perfect golds while i do normal missions or capping elites so im not too bad off.

only 3 not achived.. but had 15k on all my chars (several for my war)
(have had enough ectos nd shards though for plenty of fow armour..) was thinking about foe for my rit but doing it for nightfall char instead..

have a few 100k.. unlocked ALL skills for pvp (war,ele,ranger unlocked 100% trough pve)..

had some semi perfect drops (15 over chaos and a few other but not to much)...

1. yeah I have more than 10k, but thats like owning nothing anyway
2. Got like 20 perfect golds I think, not so hard to get. Forget about farming try trading
3. 5 chars, 5 sets of 15k, 2 sets of Obsidean armor

15k armor isnt hard to get, I remember when I got my first and that was just from playing the prophecies story line.

knowledge = money, even if you know how to do it you still have to actually DO IT. There is no place to go where you receive a sure 100k an hour.

alot of ppl complaining about not having money but what it comes down to is that they just aren't willing to put the time and effort into getting it

1. /notsigned I currently have 981k + 2350 Ectos and have maxed all my materials in storage (Have spent nearly 35 Million or so since I started right after the beta. Made most of my money before AoE nerf soloing UW)
2. /notsigned I have an undisclosed number of perfect rare skinned golds and some not so rare skinned perfect golds + I have some Greens
3. /notsigned I currently have 8 (1 of each class) PvE characters 5 of which have 1 set of FoW and 1 set of 15k each. The other 3 PvE characters are my Monk, Assassin, and Mesmer. All are female and I am not fond of the way the FoW armor looks on these 3.

I have played since the first day Guild Wars was released and I have unlocked all the skills for all the professions and have almost every Elite Skill for each profession all unlocked through PvE. I have 11 Players Slots (8 PvE, 1 Mule, 2 PvP Slots). As far as disclosing the number of hours that I play I am at work an d not able to check that figure nor would I care to tell any of you that number cause I am sure that it is an extremely embarrassing number. But hey at least I have a fun hobby that I never grow tired of. I can't wait to dig into Nightfall!
